Tutorial ~15 min

Turn your paper menu into a QR menu

Goal: Guests scan a code on the table and see your always-up-to-date menu — no app, no reprints.

What you’ll need

Your menu (a clear photo of it, or 15 minutes to type it) and a printer. QR menus require Essentiel or higher; the AI scanner requires Pro/Elite.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open Dashboard → Menu.

  2. 2

Fast path (Pro/Elite): click Scan Menu with AI, photograph your printed menu, review the extracted categories, dishes and prices, then choose Merge or Replace and save.

  3. 3

Manual path (any plan): click Add Category (“Starters”, “Mains”…), then add items with names, descriptions and prices. Drag to reorder. Save.

  4. 4

Optional: enable Show WiFi & Socials on QR Code and add your WiFi details, Instagram, TripAdvisor and Google review links.

  5. 5

Open Dashboard → QR Codes: pick a style, set your brand colors, add your logo to the center, choose a frame and caption (“SCAN FOR MENU”), and pick a print size (15–30 cm).

  6. 6

Click Download QR Code (PNG) or Print QR Code, and place one on every table.

The result

Printed codes that never expire — every menu edit in the dashboard is live on the next scan. Change a price at 5pm; guests see it at 5:01. Feature overview: QR code menu.
